Mission Statement

To promote gaited horse breeds throughout Ontario and elsewhere and to participate in maintaining and developing the various breed standards. To promote awareness of gaited horse breeds throughout Ontario and to provide a community of fellowship and support for our members; · To provide educational and promotional material throughout Ontario and elsewhere · To conduct shows, exhibitions, clinics and seminars throughout Ontario and elsewhere in order to promote gaited breeds and maintain breed standards · To monitor and maintain an awareness of the decisions, changes and developments within established Associations and Registries · To promote the breed standards to meet the stringent requirements for breeding and registering these horses in order to maintain natural gaits and agreeable temperaments · To provide support and informational assistance to breeders and owners in regards to registering with the different breed registries · To establish a working relationship with the different breed Associations and Registries to facilitate a timely exchange of information · To provide Ontario breeders with the support and forum for discussion which are essential to the spirit of cooperation inherent in this group from the outset · To receive gifts and donations to further the above objectives
